                                                                                        Dear Family and Friends,
The Rose’s Studio Scholarship Foundation (RSSF) appreciates everyone who participated in our latest fundraiser brunch.
Whether you were in attendance, made a presentation, donated your time and/or money, spread the word, etc. YOU helped make our event a total success. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and thank you for your continued support.

We are so blessed! Although the years have gone by, and despite our inability to hold our formal fundraisers, donations did not stop. We continued to work remotely and by God’s grace and with your help, we are happy to report that, since June, 2019, we continued to award scholarships. High school graduates Kalyani Balkaran, Jeanique Hawks, Keyla Paredes, Jeyla Paredes, Bilal Rose, and Jayla Fudge received scholarships totaling $11,500 to assist them in moving to the next level of their academic lives. In addition, the RSSF awarded K-12 undergraduate vouchers to eligible students totaling $5,200, towards the continuation of their music education.  Also, we  were able to hold a successful fundraising cookout at the Jerseyland Park Community Center in the fall of 2022.

So, you can see that we have been busy. But we could not nor cannot do this without you. We are excited, proud, and blessed that you have chosen to be a part of our team in supporting our students. At our music brunch, in addition to some surprise artists (The Chuck Lambert Band with special quest saxophonist Darryl Dixon, and former RSSF recipient
Iman Dixon), we once again, presented to you some of our Shining Stars in their musical element. Our fundraisers are structured to offer a platform for some of the students to display the results of their hard work and share some of their extraordinary talents with you, our partners.  Our young people are the future leaders of our world and we are charged with teaching them that strong character, preparation, and diligence are pathways to success.  Music education provides a foundation for this.

We are excited as we await the close of the 2023-2024 academic school year and evaluation of forthcoming scholarship applications.  Again, we wish to thank you all for making a difference in the lives of our students and our communities. We sincerely thank our students and parents for the marvelous job they continue to do. We would also like to thank our former students for their continued support of the RSSF.  We would like to give a special thank you to Rev. Tracey L. Brown,
our Spiritual Leader, for her continued prayers and unwavering support.

Lastly, we wish to thank all the RSSF members for their unselfish nature, as they continue to be a blessing to others,
for which we are grateful.

Sincerely,
Rose M. Cabbagestalk - Founder
Wilbur Dixon - President
