"LET FREEDOM RING" PROJECT
Let Freedom Ring is a movement that was created to bring awareness to the many different social injustices that plague our country today and to serve as a positive counter-narrative. This endeavor began with the #UpliftNJ Juneteenth messaging campaign that provided positive, inspirational, and thought-provoking quotes on signage for citizens in transit. Signs were displayed on public property all around Plainfield, NJ and on Madison Avenue in Elizabeth, NJ. It is our goal to highlight the issues at hand while motivating and encouraging everyone to examine how they can become engaged in responding to the challenges facing our society.
The Let Freedom Ring EP (mini-album) is in celebration of black history month and will be the conduit to help raise funds to grant a scholarship for an incoming freshman or current student attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). The Let Freedom Ring EP is comprised of uplifting, conscious R&B classics and Gospel standard songs. Rose's Studio Scholarship Foundation and Mt. Teman AME Church’s Scholarship Foundation have teamed up with Jared McClain in support of this venture. All scholarship donations are tax-deductible and can be made by filling the form below. As a thank you for your support all donors will receive a complimentary “Let Freedom Ring EP” at the submission of your donation.
18th Annual Scholarship Banquet
Dear Family and Friends,
IMPORTANT NEWS FLASH! It is with deep regret that The Rose’s Studio Scholarship Foundation (RSSF) is forced to cancel what would have been our 18th annual fundraising banquet this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We are concerned for everyone’s safety and offer healing prayers to all who have been affected by this horrible disease.
Although there is no banquet this year, we still need your assistance. We know that these are difficult times for everyone; however, our work to help our graduating high school seniors achieve their secondary education goals must continue. You can still make donations to the Foundation in one the following ways:
We expect to have two (2) high school seniors graduating in June, 2021 who will be eligible to receive RSSF scholarships. Our goal is to raise enough funds to support them, provide K-12 undergraduate music scholarships and sponsor community enrichment projects. Again, we are still here and need your continued support. We will get through this pandemic together and we are hoping to see you all at our next banquet. Remember that we are a 501(c)3, non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductable.
